…and many, many more. If you have a technical mind that can adapt well to new developments, if you have an analytical approach and love to solve problems, and if you are always determined to get to the bottom of any problems, you probably have what it takes to be a major success in engineering.
Engineering Qualifications that really take you places

As always, Michael Page would be happy to talk through the options that are open to you.
If you ask an engineer in any role about their typical day, the chances are they will tell you there’s no such thing. The main thrust of your duties is likely to be along the lines of applying scientific or mathematical methods to produce effective solutions to problems of a technical nature, but of course from workplace to workplace this could have a great many different interpretations.
Here in Hong Kong, engineers in all sectors are in great demand, and the healthy job market reflects this. Many of the world’s largest and most prestigious corporations have bases here, and they are all in competition with each other to attract the top talent. Salaries tend to be high, there’s a generous tax system, workplace environments are generally excellent and, last but not least, the climate is exceptional.
