Job Description

As a Sales Team Lead, Reporting to: Commercial Director

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Business Development professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Set clear KPIs and performance metrics aligned with business objectives
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop new team members



2. Revenue Generation

  • Drive new business acquisition across target industries and market segments
  • Personally close high-value and strategic deals
  • Ensure consistent achievement of individual and team sales quotas
  • Build and maintain a strong, predictable sales pipeline



3. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Develop and execute outbound and inbound sales strategies
  • Identify new market opportunities and target clients
  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers (e.g., Marketing Directors, CMOs, business owners)
  • Deliver tailored sales pitches and proposals to clients



4. Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with senior management on sales strategy and market expansion
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights
  • Contribute to service positioning and pricing strategies



5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Account Management, and Delivery teams for smooth client onboarding
  • Provide market feedback to improve service offerings
  • Align sales messaging with marketing campaigns



6. Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights
  • Track performance and identify process improvements
