This role will play a key role in reviewing, negotiating, and managing legal documentation to support client onboarding and derivatives activities for APAC Wealth Management.

Job Description

  • Conduct capacity and authority reviews for APAC wealth management clients to ensure legal eligibility for derivatives trading
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate derivatives documentation, including ISDA and related agreements
  • Partner with onboarding and operations teams to support smooth client onboarding and account approval processes
  • Collaborate with Sales, Risk, Credit, and Legal on documentation structuring and client-specific requirements
  • Perform legal due diligence, including review of constitutional documents and external legal opinions
  • Support documentation lifecycle management and participate in regulatory or remediation projects

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent)
  • 2-4 years of experience in a law firm or financial institution, with exposure to derivatives or financial documentation preferred
  • Experience covering APAC markets is a plus
  • High proficiency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
