Job Description

  • Oversee full employee lifecycle processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
  • Manage end-to-end payroll cycles and benefits administration across multiple APAC jurisdictions
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws, statutory contributions, and internal policies
  • Act as the key HR contact for regional offices, coordinating cross-border employee matters and ensuring process consistency
  • Partner closely with finance on payroll closing, reporting, and vendor-related payments
  • Lead office operations including facilities management, lease coordination, and vendor relationships
  • Support business leaders on workforce planning and day-to-day people matters
  • Drive process improvements by implementing digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled workflows
  • Build and optimise employee self-service solutions and compliance tracking mechanisms using modern technology

The Successful Applicant

  • 8 - 10 years of well-rounded HR experience within a small to mid-sized organisation
  • Energetic, proactive, versatile with a desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Proven ability to operate in a hands-on, lean environment with broad responsibilities
  • Multi-country APAC exposure is a must
  • Strong knowledge of payroll operations, compensation & benefits, and statutory compliance frameworks
  • Experience in office administration, vendor management, and workplace operations
  • Demonstrated and strong interest in use of AI or automation tools to enhance efficiency or streamline workflows
  • Experience building automated workflows or using enterprise productivity tools (e.g. Copilot, automation platforms)
  • Articulate communication skills in English; Chinese language capability (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) preferred
  • Ability to join within a short notice period or immediately available is highly desirable
