Our client is a leading international bank seeking an experienced compliance professional to provide strategic business advisory support, strengthen regulatory compliance, and partner with senior stakeholders across regional and global operations

Job Description

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing compliance advice and guidance to business units on regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Developing and implementing compliance frameworks and controls to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Monitoring regulatory changes and advising on their implications for the business.
  • Conducting compliance risk assessments and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Preparing and reviewing compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaising with regulators to address queries and ensure timely submission of regulatory filings.
  • Delivering compliance training programmes to enhance awareness across the organisation.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to support audits and regulatory inspections.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of compliance experience in a business advisory role for products
  • Open to candidates from global markets and/or securities firms
  • Must be proactive and articulate in English and speak fluent cantonese
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A relevant degree in law, finance, or a related field.
