Job Description

  • Plan, design, prepare, and execute SIT and UAT test activities.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data based on business and functional requirements.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Identify, document, track, and monitor defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with business users, developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Support test automation initiatives using modern automation frameworks and tools.
  • Conduct API testing and validate system integrations.
  • Execute performance and load testing activities where required.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
  • Provide test status updates, risk assessments, and testing metrics to project stakeholders.
  • Support production releases and critical project milestones, including overtime when required.



The Successful Applicant

  • 5-10 years of experience in software testing, with strong expertise in functional testing.
  • Proven hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, including:
    • Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent UI automation tools
    • REST API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar
  • Experience planning and executing performance testing using tools such as JMeter, BlazeMeter, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and defect management processes.
  • Solid experience in:
    • Test case design
    • Test data preparation
    • Defect analysis and reporting
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Prefer Experience within the Insurance or Financial Services industry,
