Job Description

  • Manage the end-to-end Compensation & Benefits function for the Hong Kong office, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of payroll and benefits administration.
  • Independently oversee full-cycle monthly payroll processing for corporate office and front line workforce, including salary payments, commissions, allowances, bonuses, deductions, final payments, and other variable compensation components.
  • Coordinate and manage the monthly payroll calendar, partnering closely with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure timely data collection, validation, and submission within established deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll, MPF, taxation, and compensation-related inquiries, providing professional support and guidance to employees and stakeholders.
  • Lead MPF administration activities, including enrolment, contribution calculations, fund changes, terminations, reporting, and liaison with MPF trustees to ensure full compliance with Hong Kong statutory requirements.
  • Own the administration, renewal, and ongoing management of employee benefits programs, including medical insurance, life insurance, wellness programs, and other employee benefit offerings.
  • Conduct annual benefits reviews and market benchmarking exercises, providing data-driven recommendations to enhance competitiveness, employee experience, and organizational objectives.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data through meticulous validation, reconciliation, and advanced Excel-based analysis and reporting.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 3 - 8 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, payroll, or related HR functions
  • Must have hands-on experience in full-cycle payroll processing, preferably with commission structures
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, calculations, data validation, and reporting)
  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in handling sensitive payroll data
  • Able to work independently and manage routine processes with minimal supervision
  • Stable, reliable, and committed team player
  • Experience in MPF administration and employee benefits handling
  • Good analytical skills with exposure to reporting, budgeting, or salary benchmarking
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Immediately available or short notice period preferred
  • Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin
