Our client is a Leading International Global Financial Institution, who is looking to identify a mid-senior Lawyer for their Global Markets business.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on legal and regulatory matters related to derivatives within the Financial Services industry.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing derivatives agreements and related documentation.
  • Providing guidance on compliance with local and international regulations in Hong Kong.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to manage legal risks effectively.
  • Staying updated on legal developments and advising on their potential impact on business operations.
  • Supporting dispute resolution and managing any legal proceedings related to derivatives transactions.
  • Ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to the development of internal legal frameworks and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Qualifications:

  • A law degree and professional legal qualification.
  • Proven expertise in derivatives and regulatory compliance within the Financial Services industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Familiarity with Hong Kong regulations and international legal frameworks.
  • Chinese language skills preferred, but not required
