You will contribute to workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, employee engagement and talent initiatives that support business objectives and long-term growth.A significant focus of the role will be overseeing HR operations and payroll administration across Hong Kong and Mainland China. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, manage relationships with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders, and ensure all statutory requirements are met. This includes administration of MPF, individual income tax matters, social insurance contributions, housing fund obligations (commonly referred to as the Five Social Insurances and One Housing Fund), tax reporting and other compliance-related activities.You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with local employment legislation and HR policies, keeping abreast of regulatory changes and ensuring relevant updates are implemented effectively. This includes managing employee handbook updates, leave administration, attendance and timekeeping matters, employee records and HR systems data integrity.The role will also provide day-to-day guidance to managers and employees on employee relations matters. You will support workplace investigations, policy interpretation, performance management discussions, disciplinary cases and other employee concerns, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and local regulations.In addition, you will play an active role in succession planning, talent management and employee development initiatives. Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, you will support performance review processes, identify key talent, assist in development planning and contribute to programmes designed to strengthen leadership capability, employee engagement and retention.You will lead recruitment activities for key hires, contribute to training and learning initiatives, prepare HR reporting and workforce analytics, and participate in regional projects relating to organisational change, talent development and workforce optimisation.
