Job Description

As an Account Executive (Investment Funds), your main responsibilities will include:

  • Drive new business acquisition and manage existing accounts within the Alternative Investments sector, including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, Real Estate Funds, and Hedge Funds.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including Investor Relations, Fundraising, Finance, Investment, Technology, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to negotiation, closing, and account expansion.
  • Deliver consultative sales presentations and product demonstrations, aligning solutions with client business objectives and operational needs.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing client portfolios to maximize revenue growth.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Product, and Client Success to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecast business performance, and achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities across Greater China.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to strengthen market presence and brand awareness

The Successful Applicant

A successful Account Executive (Investment Funds) should have:

  • Familiarity with technology solutions and their applications in the investment sector.Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, Economics, Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or account management within SaaS, FinTech, enterprise software, financial services, or capital markets solutions.
  • Experience selling to Alternative Investment clients, including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, or Investment Banks, is highly preferred.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers, including C-suite executives.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) with strong business communication skills.
  • Existing network within the financial services, investment management, or alternative investments community would be an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel as required across Hong Kong and Greater China to support client engagement and business growth
