About Our Client

Our client is a property developer and they are looking for a Hong Kong-qualified lawyer (NQ-3PQE) to join our in-house legal team. The role will support the business on a wide range of leasing, property and commercial matters across our property portfolio and development projects

Job Description

  • Draft, review and negotiate tenancy agreements, licence agreements and other leasing documents.
  • Provide legal support to leasing, property management and asset management teams.
  • Advise on landlord and tenant matters, lease disputes and property-related issues.
  • Review and negotiate commercial contracts, including service agreements, consultancy agreements and NDAs.
  • Assist with property acquisitions, disposals and development projects.
  • Conduct legal research and provide practical legal advice to business stakeholders.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the property industry.
  • Liaise with and manage external legal counsel when required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong.
  • NQ to 3 years' PQE.
  • Experience in commercial leasing and property-related work gained from a law firm or in-house environment.
  • Familiarity with Hong Kong landlord and tenant laws.
  • Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
  • Commercially minded and able to work closely with business teams.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
