About Our Client



Our client, a leading international law firm with a strong presence in Hong Kong and across Asia-Pacific, is seeking a talented Junior Corporate Associate (NQ-5 PQE) to join its established Corporate Practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Hong Kong-qualified lawyer to work on a broad range of cross-border corporate transactions and strategic advisory matters for multinational corporations, private equity sponsors, financial institutions and emerging companies.

Job Description

  • Advise clients on a wide range of general corporate and commercial matters.
  • Assist on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and other strategic transactions.
  • Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents, commercial agreements and ancillary documentation.
  • Conduct legal due diligence and assist in the management and execution of transactions.
  • Provide corporate governance and regulatory advice to local and international clients.
  • Liaise directly with clients, counterparties and other advisors.
  • Work closely with partners and colleagues across multiple jurisdictions on cross-border matters.
  • Support business development initiatives and client relationship management activities.



The Successful Applicant

  • Hong Kong qualified lawyer with NQ - 4 years' PQE gained from a reputable international, offshore or leading local law firm.
  • Solid grounding in general corporate law and commercial transactions.
  • Exposure to M&A, private equity, corporate advisory and/or cross-border transactions would be advantageous.
  • Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Fluent English is essential; Chinese language skills (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) would be advantageous but are not essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service.
