We are seeking a skilled MIB Securities Tech Infra professional for a 1-year Temp position in the Financial Services industry. The role is based in Hong Kong and involves working within the Technology department to ensure infrastructure excellence.

Job Description

  • Manage daily server and network administration, ensuring stable system operations
  • Provide technical support for end‑user workstations and workplace devices
  • Assist in system enhancements, IT improvement initiatives, and project rollouts
  • Oversee IT hardware inventory, support contracts, and vendor coordination
  • Ensure adherence to internal IT policies, compliance frameworks, and security standards
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server and Linux environments
  • Support networking components, including firewall, router, and switch configurations
  • Handle PABX and voice recording systems as needed
  • Deliver responsive support in a fast‑paced and high‑pressure environment

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
  • At least 5 years' IT infrastructure experience, ideally with exposure to financial institutions
  • Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or Linux credentials are highly preferred
  • Strong experience supporting Windows OS, LAN, and productivity tools like MS Office/Outlook
  • Proficient in both Windows Server and Linux administration
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, and network security equipment
  • Hands-on experience with PABX systems and voice recording tools is an advantage
  • Self-driven, resourceful, and capable of working independently under pressure
  • Strong willingness to learn emerging technologies
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Chinese, and Mandarin
