About Our Client

Our client is an independently managed investment organisation with an international footprint and a growing presence across key financial markets. Combining institutional standards with an entrepreneurial mindset, the firm has established a strong reputation among sophisticated investors and continues to expand its team, capabilities, and market reach. Employees enjoy a highly collaborative environment where individual contributions are visible, valued, and impactful.

Job Description

Reporting directly to senior leadership, this position will be responsible for leading the Human Resources function and acting as a trusted advisor to the business on all people-related matters.

The successful candidate will oversee the entire employee lifecycle while partnering closely with management to support workforce planning, organizational development, talent attraction, employee engagement, and business growth objectives. This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to influence company culture, people strategy, and operational effectiveness within a growing and performance-driven environment.

Working across an international workforce, you will lead key HR activities including recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, learning and development, employee retention, mobility, and HR operations. You will also ensure that policies, processes, and employee programs continue to evolve in line with business requirements and growth plans.

As the organisation enters its next phase of expansion, the Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in helping the business scale effectively while maintaining a strong culture and employee experience. The role will involve partnering with senior stakeholders on organisational planning, supporting management through people-related challenges, enhancing learning and development initiatives, and providing meaningful workforce insights to support decision-making.

In addition, you will oversee compliance with employment-related requirements, maintain HR systems and records, support regulatory and due diligence activities when required, and ensure the HR function continues to operate efficiently and professionally across multiple jurisdictions.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys building, influencing, and driving meaningful impact within a lean, agile, and growing organisation.

The Successful Applicant

Our client is seeking an experienced HR professional with a broad generalist background and a proven ability to operate confidently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will bring at least 10 years of Human Resources experience, including prior managerial responsibility, with a strong foundation across talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, HR operations, and employee lifecycle management. Experience gained within a regulated financial services environment is essential, while exposure to investment management, asset management, or other talent-driven sectors will be highly valued.

Beyond technical expertise, you are a proactive and self-motivated individual who is comfortable taking ownership, driving initiatives independently, and partnering directly with senior business leaders. You possess excellent judgement, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with discretion, professionalism, and integrity.

The ideal candidate thrives in high-performance environments where expectations are ambitious and standards are exceptionally high. You are detail-oriented, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a strong commitment to accuracy and execution.

You are equally comfortable thinking strategically and rolling up your sleeves to deliver operationally. Most importantly, you are a collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to business success, supporting employees, and helping organisations grow while preserving a positive and engaged culture.

Native-level spoken and written English is required. Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional workforces and knowledge of employment regulations within financial services environments will be highly advantageous.

What's on Offer

This opportunity offers the chance to lead the full HR function within a growing investment firm, partnering directly with senior leadership to shape people strategy, culture, and organisational growth. With broad exposure, high visibility, and genuine influence, it is ideal for a hands-on HR leader seeking impact, autonomy, and long-term career development.
