A leading international law firm is seeking a HR Assistant to join its Hong Kong office. As a part of the firm's Global HR Operations team, the role provides administrative support to the Asia HR team. The position offers strong exposure to regional HR operations within a collaborative, high-performing professional services environment.

Job Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, ensuring timely and professional responses
  • Provide full-cycle HR administrative support (onboarding, performance management, compensation cycles, transfers, offboarding)
  • Manage employment visa applications and renewals
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems (Workday) and reporting tools
  • Support inclusion, CSR and engagement initiatives, including research and event coordination
  • Assist with HR projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Prepare reports and ensure data accuracy across HR systems
  • Liaise closely with regional HR stakeholders across Asia

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • 2-4 years' experience in HR, office administration, or secretarial support within a professional / legal / financial services firm
  • Strong command of English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is advantageous
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive, service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HR systems (e.g. Workday) a plus
