Job Description

Reporting to senior leadership, you will take full ownership of key account management and commercial development, driving growth across major retail and pharmacy partners.Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans and Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage customer agreements in line with broader business goals.
  • Own account forecasting, budgeting, trade spend planning, and account-level P&L performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, category managers, and key decision-makers across major retail channels.
  • Establish sales targets, monitor performance metrics, and evaluate promotional effectiveness and ROI.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, competitive activity, and channel performance to identify growth opportunities and strengthen market position.
  • Manage product portfolio performance within customer accounts and recommend strategic actions to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Key Account team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Senior Management to deliver business objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Key Account should have:

  • A strong proven track record in account management or sales with minimum 8 years experience, preferably within Consumer Health, Healthcare, FMCG, Nutrition, Wellness, or related sectors.
  • Established industry network and proven ability to influence key stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Solid commercial and financial acumen, including experience with forecasting, trade investment management, and P&L ownership.
  • Proven people leadership experience with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving business performance and continuous improvement.
