Job Description

As a Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead financial reporting, consolidation, and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Ensure compliance with HKEX Listing Rules, HKFRS/IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage annual and interim audits and statutory reporting.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and treasury management.
  • Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance.
  • Support Board, Audit Committee, and senior management reporting.
  • Drive finance process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Lead and develop the finance team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Qualified accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in a HK listed company.
  • Strong knowledge of HKEX Listing Rules, HKFRS/IFRS, and corporate governance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin preferred.
  • Frequently travel to China is required.
