Job Description

We are seeking a commercially driven and strategic sales leader to spearhead revenue growth and lead high-impact commercial initiatives within Hong Kong's dynamic fintech landscape. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with deep expertise in payments or financial technology, who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels in building both business and high-performing teams.As an Associate Sales Director, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and spearheading market expansion initiatives.
  • Leading and mentoring the sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
  • Analyzing market trends and providing insights to optimize sales strategies.
  • Preparing and presenting sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and lead generation through to negotiation and deal closure
  • Develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies to drive revenue growth across new and existing client segments
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through market insights and competitor analysis



Leadership & Team Management

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a results-driven and collaborative culture
  • Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics, and monitor team performance against goals
  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to enhance team capability



Partnerships & Market Development

  • Establish and grow strategic partnerships with merchants, banks, financial institutions, and key industry stakeholders
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to strengthen brand presence



Reporting & Stakeholder Management

  • Deliver regular business updates, forecasts, and performance reports to senior management
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and contribute to broader commercial initiatives



The Successful Applicant

A successful Associate Sales Director should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline (MBA preferred)
  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in sales and/or marketing, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record within payments, fintech, banking, or e-Commerce sectors
  • Strong network within Hong Kong's financial services, merchant, or digital commerce ecosystem
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to convert insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus)
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required
