Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute trading orders for institutional clients across equities (local and global), fixed income products, and mutual funds
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of trade instructions to minimize operational risk and safeguard revenue
  • Closely track market developments and ensure all trading activities comply with internal policies as well as regulatory requirements
  • Proactively monitor client portfolios and positions, particularly during dynamic market conditions
  • Support system enhancements by participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and undertake ad hoc tasks as assigned
  • Collaborate with clients and relationship managers to understand investment objectives and deliver efficient, high-quality broking services



The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in equities and/or multi-asset trading, ideally with exposure to US markets
  • Holder of SFC Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) license
  • Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, both spoken and written
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients
  • Familiar with trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Fidessa, or other EMS/OMS systems
  • Flexible to work on a shift basis, including public holidays
