We are partnering with a leading and well-established digital payments technology provider in Asia to appoint an Associate Sales Director / Associate Director in Banking Solution. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who is passionate about fintech, payments, and business growth.Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to negotiation, contract signing, and account growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across merchants, eCommerce, retail, financial services, and enterprise sectors.
  • Drive customer acquisition while expanding existing client relationships through cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective go-to-market strategies.



Leadership & Team Management

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Foster a results-driven, collaborative, and customer-centric culture.
  • Establish clear sales KPIs, revenue targets, and performance metrics.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and ongoing professional development to team members.
  • Monitor team performance and implement improvement plans where required.



Strategic Partnerships & Market Expansion

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants, banks, financial institutions, technology partners, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Identify strategic partnership opportunities to support long-term business growth.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
  • Drive initiatives that increase market penetration and brand presence across Hong Kong and the wider region.



Stakeholder Management & Reporting

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline reports, business updates, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure accurate CRM management and sales reporting.
  • Contribute to broader commercial and business transformation initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Associate Sales Director should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong experience within:
  • FinTech
  • Payment Solutions
  • Merchant Acquiring
  • Banking Technology
  • SaaS or B2B Technology Sales
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-level client relationships.
  • Previous experience leading and developing sales teams.
  • Strong coaching, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders at senior levels.
