Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on C&B Manager to lead C&B operations for over 1,000 headcount in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Head of C&B, this role will be responsible for driving C&B initiatives, overseeing payroll and benefits administration, supporting annual reward cycles, and partnering with business leaders to provide HR advisory support. The position also plays a key role in HR process improvement, HR systems enhancement, and people-related projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesCompensation & Benefits

  • Manage the full spectrum of Compensation & Benefits activities
  • Oversee monthly payroll, MPF administration, taxation, insurance and employee benefits administration.
  • Support annual salary review, bonus planning and reward exercises.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market intelligence analysis to ensure external competitiveness.
  • Review and recommend compensation and benefits programs aligned with business objectives.
  • Prepare HR analytics, workforce reports and C&B-related management reports.



HR Business Partnering

  • Partner with department heads and business leaders on employee movements, organisational changes and workforce planning.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, offboarding matters and employment issues.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on people-related matters.



HR Operations & Projects

  • Drive continuous improvements in HR processes and employee experience.
  • Participate in HRIS implementation, enhancement and digitalisation projects.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Employment Ordinance and relevant statutory requirements.
  • Lead or support ad hoc HR initiatives and cross-functional projects as assigned.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to Compensation & Benefits functions.
  • Solid experience managing payroll, taxation, benefits administration and reward programs.
  • Strong understanding of Hong Kong employment legislation and HR regulations.
  • Experience in salary review, bonus planning and compensation benchmarking.
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems and HR process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage.



Preferred Experience

  • Experience within front line or fast-paced operational environments would be highly preferred.
  • Exposure to both specialist C&B responsibilities and broader HRBP support.
  • Proven track record in driving HR initiatives across multiple business units and locations.
