Our client is a digital asset-focused investment firm with primary objective to support and enhance liquidity frameworks within the global cross-border payments ecosystem.

Job Description



Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and source international, payment-related asset opportunities
  • Build and maintain a long-term pipeline of originations
  • Develop relationships with key industry participants, including:
    • Merchant acquirers
    • Payment service providers (PSPs)
    • Digital wallet operators
    • Regional clearing and settlement networks
  • Analyze cross-border payment flows to uncover funding and liquidity gaps
  • Collaborate with internal investment and risk teams by passing on validated opportunities for structuring and execution
  • Establish strategic partnerships to generate recurring asset pools
  • Provide insights and intelligence on trends within payment liquidity markets

The Successful Applicant



Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience in cross-border payments, settlement, acquiring, or PSP-related roles
  • Strong international network within the payments ecosystem
  • In-depth knowledge of:
    • Cross-border settlement processes
    • Liquidity and position management
    • In-transit capital dynamics
  • Proven ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively
  • Fluency in both English and Chinese
  • Experience in clearing banks, FX institutions, or supply chain finance is advantageous
  • Demonstrated track record in originating tangible asset opportunities is preferred
