Job Description

As a UAT Tester, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed UAT test cases for digital platform enhancements and new feature releases.
  • Support the development of test strategies, test plans, and testing documentation for functional and system changes.
  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across multiple digital initiatives and ensure test coverage meets business requirements.
  • Log, track, and report testing results, defects, and issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in UAT review meetings and collaborate with technology teams and external vendors to resolve testing issues.
  • Coordinate with business users, project teams, and third-party vendors to prioritize defect fixes and agree on acceptance criteria.
  • Support production release verification activities, including occasional after-hours and weekend testing when required.
  • Assist with production incident investigations, regression testing, and validation of fixes in both testing and production environments.
  • Maintain comprehensive testing records, screenshots, approvals, and UAT sign-off documentation for audit purposes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful applicant should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in UAT, QA, systems testing, or business testing activities.
  • Experience testing digital platforms, mobile applications, online banking systems, or customer-facing applications is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with defect tracking and test management tools is advantageous.
