Job Description

As a Trading System Support Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of application systems.
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of existing applications and addressing technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality and performance.
  • Conducting system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to improve reliability.
  • Coordinating with external vendors to ensure timely delivery of application updates and services.
  • Preparing technical documentation and operational guidelines for system users.
  • Providing technical support to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Staying updated on emerging technologies and recommending their integration where applicable.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Trading System Support Specialist should have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • 2 years or above trading system support experience
  • Good planning and task management skills, analytical skills and demonstrate strong risk awareness
  • Familiar with script languages (Windows, Linux shell, SQL)
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills is preferred
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua)

What's on Offer

  • Annual salary between HKD 378,000 and HKD 462,000, paid across 12 months.
  • 12 months basic salary with attractive bonus.
  • Permanent employment in the financial services industry in Hong Kong.
