About Our Client

Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Store Manager / Deputy Store Manager to lead the operations and sales performance of a large-scale retail business. Reporting directly to senior management, this role will be responsible for driving sales growth, enhancing operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer experiences across multiple product categories.

Job Description

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of managers and frontline staff to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and operational plans to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Establish and monitor sales, service, cost control, and operational KPIs.
  • Plan annual and seasonal merchandising strategies, including product assortment and brand sourcing initiatives.
  • Drive effective inventory management, stock optimization, and budget control to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Analyze business performance and provide recommendations to improve operations, customer experience, and financial results.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns and customer engagement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in retail management, preferably within department stores, lifestyle retail, or multi-category retail operations.
  • Strong track record in sales planning, merchandising, inventory management, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Well-connected within the retail industry, with strong market awareness and understanding of customer trends and purchasing behaviors.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Results-oriented, highly proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, with conversational Putonghua required.
  • Flexible to work on a shift roster, including weekends and public holidays when required.
