The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for managing procurement activities for semiconductor-related components, working closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and overseas headquarters. This role requires Korean language capability and hands-on experience in semiconductor purchasing.

Our client is a global technology company operating in the semiconductor and memory solutions space, with a strong international supply chain and close partnerships across Asia. They are expanding their procurement function and are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to support their growing business.

Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for semiconductor components and related materials
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery
  • Coordinate closely with overseas teams, including Korean-speaking suppliers and headquarters
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks in the semiconductor industry
  • Issue purchase orders and track order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and pricing agreements
  • Support inventory planning and demand forecasting in collaboration with operations and sales teams
  • Resolve supply, quality, and delivery issues promptly and professionally



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Fluent in Korean (spoken and written); English proficiency required
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor components, suppliers, and market dynamics
  • Proven experience in supplier negotiation and cost management
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international business environment
  • Experience working with Korean headquarters or suppliers will be a plus
