Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, multi-site data center relocation and migration programs, including mission-critical environments.
  • Own full project lifecycle accountability, covering governance, planning, execution, risk control, and successful cutover.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors, ensuring clear alignment and accountability.
  • Develop and drive overall relocation and migration strategy, including:
    • Infrastructure design alignment with architects and SMEs
    • Application and system dependency mapping
    • Migration wave planning and move group definition
  • Manage all phases of theprogramlifecycle:
    • Planning and readiness
    • Execution and migration activities
    • Cutover management and post-migration stabilization
  • Ensure minimal business disruption through detailed planning, risk mitigation, and robust contingency strategies.
  • Oversee and coordinate external vendors across logistics, facilities setup, cabling, and hardware decommissioning/redeployment.
  • Establish and maintain strong governance across:
    • Risk, Issue, and Change Management
    • Communication and Stakeholder Management
  • Lead steering committee meetings and deliver clear, concise executive-level reporting.
    • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations across business, IT, and external partners, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of IT Project Management experience, with a strong delivery background in complex infrastructure programs.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale data center relocation and/or migration initiatives.
  • Experience operating in mission-critical environments (e.g., Banking & Financial Services, Telecommunications, Public Sector, or large enterprises).
  • Strong expertise in hybrid infrastructure environments, including:
    • Compute (servers), storage platforms
    • Network infrastructure
    • Virtualization technologies
    • Cloud environments (public / private / hybrid)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-site, multi-vendor programs with high levels of coordination.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
  • Solid understanding of data center operations, infrastructure architecture, and migration methodologies.
  • Ability to manage high-pressurecutover events and deliver within tight timelines.
    • Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making capabilities in complex environments.
