Job Description

As a Senior Trademark Paralegal, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing trademark portfolios, including filings, renewals, and oppositions.
  • Advising clients on trademark strategy and intellectual property protection.
  • Conducting trademark clearance searches and providing detailed reports.
  • Overseeing trademark prosecution and enforcement processes.
  • Collaborating with internal legal teams to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of trademark registrations and related documents.
  • Providing training and updates to internal teams on trademark-related matters.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in trademark law and industry trends.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A strong background in trademark law and intellectual property, with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Proven ability to manage trademark portfolios effectively.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, particularly in conducting clearance searches.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling legal documentation.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in legal software and tools related to trademark management.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese.
  • Knowledge of the professional services industry is preferred.
