They now seek a proactive, commercial savvy HRBP to join the team in Hong Kong.Job DescriptionReporting to the Head of HRBP, you will gain a deep understanding of the company's business nature, operating model, organizational structure and leadership styles, and work closely with management to design and deliver people strategies that enable long‑term success. Beyond execution, this position offers significant exposure to planning, shaping, and implementing HR initiatives across the region. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping them address people‑related challenges, build organizational capability, and drive a high‑performance culture.In this role, you will partner with line managers to ensure excellent delivery of a full spectrum of HR services, including manpower planning, talent sourcing, performance management, and talent development. You will provide guidance to leadership teams and people managers on key HR frameworks such as performance, talent and development, compensation, and broader HR programs, ensuring consistent and effective implementation of related policies and processes. A critical part of the role is helping the business maintain a sustainable high‑performance environment through consulting on leadership effectiveness, team structure, organizational culture, and talent strategies. You will also support the implementation of organizational change initiatives, including transformation projects and restructuring efforts.As a strategic HR partner, you will assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring HR strategies to meet evolving business and operational needs, while establishing a strong HR presence within your client groups. The role also involves driving key regional HR projects and contributing to cross‑functional initiatives that shape the company's people agenda. From time to time, you may also take part in ad‑hoc assignments depending on business priorities.The Successful ApplicantTo succeed in this position, you should bring at least 10 years of HRBP experience, ideally gained from mid to sizable multinational companies, preferably from technology, industrial or other companies with operations across Asia. You must demonstrate a proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across different locations, with a collaborative, solution‑oriented mindset and the confidence to challenge constructively when needed. A solid understanding of employment legislation and hands‑on experience managing employee relations issues is important, along with strong counselling and conflict‑resolution skills. The ideal candidate is energetic, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. You should be capable of driving change, influencing new initiatives, solving complex problems, and maintaining high attention to detail. Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese are required.
