Job Description

  • Lead and develop the Asset Allocation Investment team, providing strategic direction and people management.
  • Formulate and enhance strategic and tactical asset allocation frameworks across multi-asset portfolios.
  • Conduct macroeconomic and capital market research to support investment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders on portfolio strategy, ALM, capital efficiency, and investment initiatives.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, and market developments.
  • Present investment views and recommendations to senior management and relevant committees.
  • Drive continuous improvement in investment processes, governance, and analytical capabilities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Extensive experience in asset allocation, portfolio management, investment strategy, ALM, or institutional investing.
  • Proven experience managing and leading investment teams.
  • Strong understanding of strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk management, and capital markets.
  • Actuarial qualification and/or actuarial background is highly preferred.
  • Candidates from leading insurance companies, asset management firms, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, or institutional investors are strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of insurance investment frameworks, regulatory capital considerations, and asset-liability management principles is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills



Language Requirements

  • Native or fluent Mandarin Chinese writing skills are essential, with the ability to prepare high-quality investment reports, research papers, and presentations in Chinese.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required for interaction with regional and international stakeholders.
