About Our Client

Our client is a tech conglomerate and they are looking for a a highly capable M&A Lawyer to join the legal team of a leading technology conglomerate. This role will support strategic growth initiatives through mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and complex cross-border transactions.

Job Description

  • Lead and execute M&A transactions including acquisitions, disposals, investments, and joint ventures across multiple jurisdictions
  • Provide end-to-end transaction support, including structuring, due diligence, drafting, negotiation, and completion
  • Advise senior stakeholders on legal, regulatory, and commercial risks relating to corporate transactions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of transactional documents, including SPAs, shareholders' agreements, JV agreements, and ancillary documents
  • Manage and coordinate external counsel and advisors across different jurisdictions
  • Work closely with internal business teams (e.g., strategy, finance, tax) on deal execution and integration
  • Provide legal support on post-merger integration, restructuring, and corporate governance matters
  • Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments impacting M&A and the broader tech industry



The Successful Applicant

  • Hong Kong-qualified lawyer with 7+ years' PQE
  • Strong M&A and corporate transactional experience gained from reputable international law firms
  • Proven track record in handling complex, cross-border deals
  • Experience in technology, TMT, or high-growth sectors is highly advantageous
  • Commercially astute with the ability to provide pragmatic, business-oriented advice
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus
