Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full set of accounts and financial reporting activities for the Hong Kong entities.
  • Prepare management reports, financial analyses, and reporting schedules for local management and Group Finance.
  • Prepare and submit Financial Resources Rules (FRR) returns and perform client money reconciliations to ensure compliance with SFC regulatory requirements.
  • Process client fund transfers, including inward and outward remittances, as well as foreign exchange conversions.
  • Collaborate with finance teams across different regions to support intra-group financial reporting and consolidation processes.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including banks, regulators, auditors, and tax advisors, on financial, regulatory, and compliance matters.
  • Support ad hoc projects, business initiatives, and other assignments as directed by the Department Head and senior management.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Finance Analyst should have:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • 5 years + Accounting experience with a securities firm
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and modelling tools.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance or a related field.
