We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our technology team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong technical background who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and development teams. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, driving system enhancements, and supporting data-driven decision making.

Job Description

  • Work closely with business users, project managers, developers, and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Lead requirement workshops and stakeholder discussions.
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
  • Support system implementation, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
  • Utilize SQL to extract, analyze, and validate data.
  • Leverage Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting where applicable.
  • Collaborate with developers and solution architects to ensure business requirements are effectively delivered.
  • Prepare project documentation, workflows, user stories, and process maps.
  • Monitor project progress and manage stakeholder expectations.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or related role.
  • Proven experience working on technology and digital transformation projects.
  • Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
  • Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in data querying, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation, automation, or analytics.
  • Understanding of system architecture, APIs, databases, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience writing functional specifications and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with business process modeling and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience within banking, insurance, financial services, or large enterprise environments
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, Agile, or Scrum are advantageous.
