Our client is a leading international company. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team and play a key role in group reporting, consolidation, compliance, and audit activities.

About Our Client

A retail industry organisation based in Kowloon.

Job Description

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform group consolidation and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and balance confirmations across regional entities.
  • Support statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting regulations, and internal controls.
  • Assist in management reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
  • Participate in ad hoc finance projects as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience in group consolidation, intercompany accounting, audit, reporting, and compliance
  • Experience in a MNC environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in English and Cantonese, both written and spoken.
