Job Description

As a Senior Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
  • Perform group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and elimination entries.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/HKFRS and corporate accounting policies.
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Review account reconciliations and analyze financial results and variances.
  • Support statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Assist in preparing management reports and financial analysis for management.
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and implement relevant requirements.
  • Assist with ad hoc finance and reporting projects as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Qualified accountant (CPA, HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 6-8 years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/HKFRS and consolidation accounting.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
