We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide and support agile teams within the insurance industry. This role involves fostering collaboration, ensuring agile practices are followed, and delivering projects successfully in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

  • Partner with business units and IT teams to deliver end‑to‑end system solutions.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and BAs to shape user stories and solution designs.
  • Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies to support sprint success and team maturity.
  • Coach agile teams on Scrum principles, best practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Build alignment across stakeholders and manage expectations on scope, risk, and delivery.
  • Coordinate with QA teams to define test strategies and oversee test execution.
  • Track sprint progress, release plans, and overall delivery roadmaps.
  • Manage cross‑team dependencies through Scrum of Scrums or similar frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to maximise value delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and delivery standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong knowledge of Agile values, Scrum, Kanban, and scaling frameworks.
  • At least 5 years' experience serving and leading Scrum teams.
  • Hands‑on experience facilitating agile ceremonies and team workshops.
  • Confident user of agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and X‑Ray.
  • Proven ability to remove impediments and drive team performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
  • Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
  • Agile certifications (PSM, CSM - advanced preferred).
  • Background in insurance or financial services is an advantage.
