Our client is a well-established, family-owned power solutions provider with manufacturing operations in China and final assembly in Hong Kong. The business has built a strong reputation in supplying, renting, and maintaining diesel generator systems for construction sites, engineering companies, and large end users, with a significant portion of its sales serving overseas markets. Hong Kong operations primarily support rental, servicing, and maintenance needs during electrical shortages and critical power demand. With a stable workforce locally and decades of operational history, the company is now actively expanding and exploring new business opportunities.

Job Description

Reporting directly to senior management, the Sales Manager will oversee Hong Kong-focused sales activities covering generator sales, rental solutions, and after-sales service and maintenance. The role involves managing key end-user relationships, identifying new business opportunities within construction and engineering sectors, and working closely with internal service and operations teams. You will join a stable and experienced sales structure, including long-serving team members, while contributing new ideas to drive business development, modernize sales approaches, and support the company's next phase of growth.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have solid B2B sales experience within power generation, electrical equipment, engineering services, or related industrial industries, with proven experience dealing directly with end users in Hong Kong. You are commercially driven, relationship-focused, and comfortable working within a family-owned organization where decisions are made efficiently and leadership is closely involved. Experience in generator sales, rental, or maintenance solutions will be highly valued, as will an interest in emerging energy solutions, sustainability, and ESG development.
