Job Description

The Paper Products Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of paper products in the Asia Pacific region, including packaging paper, industrial paper, wood-free paper and art paper. The role focuses on developing and maintaining long-term relationships with printing houses, packaging manufacturers, traders and large industrial enterprises while expanding market presence and regional sales channels. The successful candidate will independently develop regional and individual sales plans aligned with revenue, profit and payment collection targets, while managing the full sales cycle from customer inquiry and quotation to order execution, delivery coordination and after-sales support. The position also requires close collaboration with logistics, finance and procurement teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, participation in industry exhibitions and client visits, and continuous monitoring of market trends, competitor activity and pricing movements to provide timely and actionable market feedback. Frequent global travel is expected as part of the role to support client engagement and market expansion.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate brings a minimum of five years of sales experience in paper products, pulp, packaging materials or related industrial raw materials, with proven exposure to the Asia Pacific market. A strong understanding of paper product specifications, applications, pricing mechanisms and trading processes is essential, along with fluency in both Mandarin and English for professional negotiation and business communication. Candidates with existing APAC customer networks or prior experience within the printing and packaging industry will be highly regarded. The role requires a self-driven, results-oriented professional who is comfortable developing new clients independently, works well under pressure and is willing to travel frequently. Strong interpersonal skills, commercial mindset and a proactive approach to teamwork are key to success.
