As an eRisk DevOps Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless functionality and performance of key technology systems within the financial services industry. Job Description

  • Provide front‑line DevOps and production support for FX and Fixed Income trading platforms
  • Support electronic market‑making and order management systems in a 24/5.5 environment
  • Manage FX venue and client onboarding activities
  • Partner closely with traders, quants, sales, and middle office teams in Hong Kong
  • Develop Python tools for trading analysis and operational automation
  • Handle production incidents, service requests, and problem management end‑to‑end
  • Perform system monitoring, alert response, and root‑cause analysis
  • Execute application deployments, upgrades, patching, and configuration across environments
  • Produce ad‑hoc data analysis using SQL, KDB/Q, or similar query tools
  • Communicate clearly with internal users and external vendors during incidents
  • Participate in shift rotation, on‑call, weekend, and market‑open health checks
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps processes and operational tooling

The Successful Applicant

  • Hands‑on experience supporting FX or Fixed Income electronic trading systems
  • Strong background in production support within an investment bank or similar environment
  • Solid knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems and command‑line operations
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or C++
  • Experience with databases and time‑series data (SQL, KDB/Q, Oracle, MongoDB)
  • Good understanding of DevOps and IT production management principles
  • Comfortable working in high‑pressure, business‑critical trading environments
  • Proven troubleshooting skills across applications, infrastructure, and networks
  • Confident communicator able to engage directly with front‑office stakeholders
  • Experience managing third‑party vendors and external service providers
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field
