This role is responsible for leading and transforming the global quality function, setting the overall quality vision, and driving standardisation, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting directly to the COO, the VP of Quality will act as a change agent, partnering cross-functionally to instill a proactive quality culture and ensure excellence across the entire product lifecycle.

Our client is a well-established global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider with a strong footprint across Asia. The organisation partners with leading international brands and is known for its engineering capabilities and large-scale production operations.

As part of its continued focus on operational excellence and global alignment, the company is seeking a Vice President of Quality to lead transformation initiatives and elevate quality standards across all sites.

Job Description

  • Lead the global quality function and act as a key change agent across the company
  • Define and drive the company-wide quality vision, strategy, and performance objectives
  • Oversee end-to-end quality management, including QMS, supplier quality, customer quality, and factory quality
  • Standardise quality systems, processes, and controls to ensure consistency across regions
  • Establish and drive global quality metrics, including COPQ and continuous improvement targets
  • Champion the use of advanced statistical and problem-solving tools (e.g., Six Sigma, DOE, SPC, GR&R, ANOVA)
  • Lead failure analysis, root cause investigation, and customer complaint resolution (including 8D reporting)
  • Build and develop high-performing QA teams across multiple sites, fostering a proactive quality culture
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and R&D to ensure quality standards are embedded across product lifecycle
  • Oversee compliance and auditing programs to meet regulatory and customer requirements



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • 15+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with exposure across quality, operations/ R&D
  • Proven leadership experience in large-scale EMS manufacturing environments
  • Strong track record in driving quality transformation and multi-site standardisation initiatives
  • Deep knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced statistical tools
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams in a global setting
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience interfacing with customers, suppliers, and certification bodies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at executive level
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
