About Our Client



Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with Product Life Management focus to take ownership of products in production within a fast‑paced, premium consumer electronics environment. This role sits at the heart of engineering, manufacturing, and quality, ensuring robust lifecycle governance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across globally produced products.

The successful candidate will act as a key technical authority for products transferred to production, driving change control, compliance, value engineering initiatives, and manufacturing optimisation in close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and contract manufacturing partners.

Job Description

  • Own Product Life Management and Engineering Change Order governance for products in mass production
  • Act as technical authority for products transferred from NPI
  • Support quality, compliance, and PPAP activities
  • Lead root cause analysis, DOE, and problem‑solving for design and manufacturing issues
  • Drive value engineering initiatives to improve cost and functionality without compromising quality
  • Manage product variations and second‑source component validation
  • Champion continuous improvement and Lean initiatives at contract manufacturing sites
  • Support early NPD/NPI phases, DFMA reviews, and supply chain risk mitigation
  • Regular reporting in line with PLM procedures



The Successful Applicant

  • At least 8 years PLM Project Management experience in consumer electronics
  • Degree Holder in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electronics or equivalent)
  • Strong manufacturing knowledge
  • Proven experience in root cause analysis & structured problem‑solving
  • Six Sigma certification a plus
  • Fluent English & Mandarin
  • Comfortable working across cultures and travelling regularly
