Our client is a leading international banking institution with a strong presence in Hong Kong.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of banking technology projects and transformation programmes
  • Drive modernisation initiatives across Payments, Cards, Brokerage or ATM platforms
  • Partner with business users, technology teams and vendors to ensure successful project execution
  • Manage project scope, timeline, budget, risks and dependencies
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and oversee project governance activities
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology functions
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management
  • Ensure solutions align with business requirements, regulatory standards and technology strategy
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops and steering committee discussions
  • Support change management, testing, deployment and post-implementation activities

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager within a large banking environment
  • Strong track record delivering banking transformation or modernisation projects
  • Experience in at least one banking domain: Payments, Cards, Brokerage or ATM systems
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives
  • Strong project governance, risk management and delivery capabilities
  • Experience managing vendors and external implementation partners
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Mandarin and English language skills are highly preferred
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification is an advantage
