Our client is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing activities across the Property & Construction category, supporting branch development, refurbishment, fit-out, and capital projects. Partnering with key stakeholders, you will drive end-to-end procurement, including tender management, supplier negotiations, and contract management. This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional with a QS background and strong experience in construction-related procurement.

About Our Client

Our client is a leading financial institution seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing and category management activities across the Property & Construction portfolio. This role will play a critical part in driving procurement excellence for branch network development, renovation projects, workplace upgrades, and capital expenditure initiatives.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities for property, construction, fit-out, renovation, maintenance, and facilities-related projects.
  • Manage tendering, RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contract award recommendations.
  • Develop and execute category strategies to drive cost savings, value creation, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, facilities teams, and business stakeholders to support branch expansion, refurbishment, and workplace transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct commercial reviews, bid analysis, and supplier performance management.
  • Negotiate complex construction and consultancy agreements to ensure favourable commercial outcomes.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices within the construction and property sectors.
  • Ensure procurement activities are conducted in accordance with corporate governance, compliance, and risk management requirements.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Services, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Quantity Surveying (QS) background is essential.
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement, sourcing, commercial, or quantity surveying experience within construction, property, real estate, or capital projects environments.
  • Strong experience managing construction-related categories, including fit-out, renovation, contractors, consultants, and project services.
  • Proven track record of leading tender exercises, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior business leaders.
  • Experience within financial services, corporate real estate, project management, property developers, consultancy firms, or large-scale corporates will be advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills; Cantonese proficiency is highly preferred.
