The successful candidate will support multi-asset trading activities with a primary focus on fixed income products, bonds, and structured products. Job Description

  • Execute client and proprietary trading orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with internal controls, risk management guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support trading activities across fixed income, structured products, and other multi-asset investment products.
  • Monitor market developments, pricing movements, liquidity conditions, and relevant news flows to identify trading opportunities and provide market insights.
  • Prepare daily trading reports, position monitoring, P&L analysis, and other trading-related management reports.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on trade booking, confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and issue resolution throughout the trade lifecycle.
  • Assist in enhancing trading processes, reporting efficiency, and workflow automation through technology and programming solutions.
  • Work closely with sales and investment teams to ensure efficient trade execution and client servicing.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related disciplines.
  • 3-8 years of relevant dealing or trading experience within financial institutions, securities firms, asset management companies, or wealth management platforms.
  • Exposure to fixed income products, bonds, structured products, FX, or other multi-asset classes will be highly regarded.
  • SFC Type 1 license holder is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, trade execution processes, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in VBA, Python, or other programming languages is highly preferred, especially for candidates with experience developing trading tools, automation solutions, reporting systems, or data analytics frameworks.
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Cantonese are essential; Mandarin is advantageous.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
