About Our Client

Our client is a globally recognised, multi-channel apparel business with a strong presence across the U.S. and Asia. The company is known for its agile approach to product creation, combining speed, innovation, and deep supply chain expertise to deliver high-quality fashion products to market.With continued expansion in Asia, they are now looking to appoint a Merchandising Manager to support and drive their sourcing and production operations in Hong Kong.

Job Description

  • Own the end-to-end product development and production lifecycle from concept through to bulk delivery
  • Partner closely with Design teams to translate creative direction into commercially viable, manufacturable products
  • Manage seasonal critical paths to ensure timely execution across all development milestones
  • Source, evaluate, and develop a strong vendor base across Asia, ensuring capability, capacity, and compliance
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to drive long-term performance and scalability
  • Lead product costing, price negotiations, and margin optimisation to support commercial targets
  • Oversee production planning, capacity allocation, and proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across Design, QA, Technical, and Sales teams globally
  • Ensure all products meet required quality, safety, and compliance standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Fashion, Textiles, Supply Chain, or related discipline
  • 5-8+ years of relevant experience in apparel merchandising or sourcing
  • Strong knowledge of product development, manufacturing processes, and vendor management
  • Proven track record in managing overseas vendors, particularly across China and Asia
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus
