Job Description

  • Manage and develop Ocean products and services for the Intra-Asia trade.
  • Execute procurement and trade strategies to support business growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with shipping lines and carrier partners.
  • Negotiate contracts, freight rates, and commercial terms for RFQs and tenders.
  • Oversee carrier contracts, rate maintenance, and service commitments.
  • Manage carrier allocations, routing guides, and space utilisation.
  • Resolve operational and service-related escalations with carriers and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor trade performance, market trends, and key account volumes.
  • Prepare trade reports, business reviews, and management presentations.
  • Utilise data analytics and reporting tools to support commercial decision-making.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, Business, or related disciplines.
  • 10+ years of experience with a shipping line, NVOCC, or international freight forwarder.
  • Strong background in Ocean FCL procurement, pricing, and trade management.
  • Direct experience managing the Intra-Asia trade lane is essential.
  • Proven carrier negotiation and relationship management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large datasets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Commercially driven with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
