Job Description

  • Serve as the Business Analyst and Production Support Lead for Healthbuzz and other operational platforms, while also acting as the Product Owner within an Agile/Scrum team.
  • Manage operational incidents and production defects, designing temporary solutions to reduce business impact.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions, including negotiating solution designs and planning technical fixes with relevant teams.
  • Oversee quality control for all fixes, including root cause analysis, defect reviews, various testing cycles (UAT, BVT, IVT), and related validation activities.
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end activities, including both online and offline schedules, ATP adjustments, and support for regulatory processes such as levy handling, CRS, FATCA, and data retention requirements.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the insurance industry and apply this expertise to enhance project execution, offering guidance and insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay attuned to stakeholder priorities and strategies, providing clear and structured communication through meetings, progress updates, documentation, and presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Lead or contribute to multiple projects at once, ensuring timely documentation, effective scope control, schedule management, issue escalation, and stakeholder alignment for smooth project and incident resolution.
  • Provide leadership by collaborating with peers, communicating ideas effectively, driving issue resolution, initiating improvement initiatives, managing resources, and ensuring accountability for outcomes.
  • Drive process enhancements by conducting in‑depth business process analysis and design, with a focus on quality, data management, and long-term business alignment.
  • Support business solution delivery by cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders and identifying underlying business needs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, statistics, quantitative analysis, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in business analysis or project-related roles.
  • Background in project management and execution.
  • Solid understanding of operational processes and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of life insurance products and industry practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong character with the ability to manage change and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Organized, self‑motivated, and an effective team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong financial and business analysis skills using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
