Our client is a leading multinational organization with a strong presence across Asia Pacific. As part of an ongoing business transformation, they are seeking an experienced HR leader to join as HR Business Partner Lead supporting Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Job Description

This is a high-impact role partnering directly with senior business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, talent strategy and transformation initiatives across the region.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR Partnership

  • Partner with senior leadership teams to develop and execute people strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide advisory support on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management and leadership effectiveness.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on complex employee and organizational matters.



Transformation & Change

  • Lead and support organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Drive change management and employee engagement programmes.
  • Partner with business leaders to build high-performing teams and strengthen management capability.



Talent & Organization Development

  • Lead talent review, succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
  • Support strategic hiring and workforce capability planning.
  • Foster a strong culture of performance, accountability and employee engagement.



HR Leadership

  • Lead and develop a small HR team.
  • Oversee employee relations, labour law compliance and HR operations through the team.
  • Collaborate with regional and global HR stakeholders to deliver key people initiatives and projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualified with significant HR Business Partnering experience within multinational organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese labour law, employment practices and employee relations.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior executives and leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational change, transformation and culture initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese is required.
  • Experience covering multiple markets within Asia.
  • Prior team leadership experience.
  • Frequent travelling to Japan and Taiwan will be required for the role
