They are looking to hire a Head of Finance and Fund Accounting to look after the finance and accounting and fund operations of the company.Job DescriptionRole OverviewThis position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational management of the fund, ensuring all administrative, financial, and regulatory activities are executed efficiently and accurately.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary liaison with external fund administrators and oversee service delivery.Review and validate NAV calculations, management fees, and fund-related expenses.Coordinate the annual audit process and manage communication with auditors.Maintain relationships with banking partners, brokers, custodians, and other third-party service providers.Oversee investor subscriptions, redemptions, and onboarding activities.Support and coordinate KYC and AML procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.Work closely with legal, compliance, tax, and accounting advisors on fund-related matters.Manage cash movements, payment processing, and operating expenses for the fund and management company.Prepare and respond to operational due diligence requests and investor DDQs.Track key regulatory and operational deadlines while proactively resolving issues that may impact fund operations.The Successful ApplicantRequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline preferred.Proven experience in fund operations, fund administration, hedge funds, private funds, or alternative investment environments.Sound understanding of fund structures, NAV production, audit processes, and fund lifecycle management.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Experience working with and overseeing external service providers, including administrators, auditors, custodians, and banking partners.Working knowledge of accounting principles and fund-related financial reporting is advantageous.Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Familiarity with regulatory requirements relating to investor onboarding, KYC, and AML processes.Exposure to cryptocurrency, digital asset, or blockchain-focused funds would be considered a plus.What's on OfferAnnual salary package paid across 12 months plus discretionary bonus.Permanent position with opportunities for career growth in the hedge fund industry.ContactNicole HuiQuote job refJN-092026-7094019Phone number+852 3412 4832Job summaryFunctionFinance & AccountingSpecialisationFinancial Director / CFOWhat is your area of specialisation?Financial ServicesLocationHong KongJob Type:PermanentConsultant nameNicole HuiConsultant phone+852 3412 4832Job ReferenceJN-092026-7094019
