Job Description

As a Fund Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of fund accounting processes.
  • Preparing accurate and timely financial statements and reports for clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and accounting standards.
  • Reconciling investment portfolios and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Assisting in audits and responding to queries from auditors and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Providing support and guidance to junior team members when needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fund Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting principles and financial regulations for hedge funds.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to the role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interactions.
